She is always re-purposing fabric on her site and it has made me think about doing the same thing.
This may not look like much but I found a skirt on sale for $1. and it was on sale for a reason
The cut was awful- it wouldn't look flattering on anyone- I mean it. Normally I would have walked away- but after reading Dana's blog I knew it had potential.
I turned it into a two-layered gathered little-girls skirt. I made this in about a 2T size.So I got a CUTE little girls skirt for just a dollar

Did the same w/ an XL mini ruffle skirt on the sale rack at Target: 50 cents!!! Cut it on the side seams and remade it into a sundress and then took the other half and made it into a skirt for my 2T grand-daughter. 2 precious outfits for 50 cents!!!
That skirt is precious! I'm so glad you didn't pass up that fabric. Great redo!
